How to Use The Sharp Chart

1. Find the Sharps in the Key of E.

2. Find The Key which has 6 sharps.

What Notes are Sharp In The Key of E?

1. Find the Key (E) name on the Chart.

2. Look at the number under that Key name.

3. Use that number of sharps(#) from the order of sharps.

Therefore, the Key of E has 4 sharps (#) which are F,C,G and D.

What Key Signature Has 6 Sharps?

1. Count the number of sharps (6) in the Key Signature.

2. Find that number on the Chart.

3. The letter above the number is the Key.

Therefore the Key with 6 sharps (#) is the Key of F#.

NB. (Since the first sharp is always F the key is F#.)
